Winslow Group JSC has being established in 2003 through a Bulgarian - British partnership. The company has several business activities, which includ leading fully integrated commercial and residential development business, including project, construction, property management and agency sales.
It has being created a Property Development Joint Venture since 2006 with RREEF, the real estate investment arm of Deutsche Bank Asset Management.
Winslow AgrŠ¾ Fund (WAF) is a separate division of Winslow Group. WAF arises as a structural unit, which then dynamically grows and describes itself, as a separate company. Main activity of Winslow Agro Fund is acquisition of agricultural land and production of agricultural products. Investments of WAF are divided in the mentioned above two main directions. Other direction of WAF is cultivation of cereal grain and oilseeds. 4000 ha in Pyrvomay are cultivated at present moment. The company has offices in Sofia and Parvomay.
As of December 2008 WAF owns over 1 500 hectares of agricultural land in Bulgaria, and farms over an additional 2000 hectares of rented farmland.
WAF’s farm management business, which was started in 2004, is located in the Parvomai region, in Southern Bulgaria. To date, other than its investments in land, WA has invested over 2.5 million euros in top quality specialized agricultural machinery, a large farm base with warehouses and depot, and an office and accommodation in Parvomai and Plovdiv. From an initial 130 ha in 2005/2006, Winslow now farms over 2 300 ha, producing wheat, maize, sunflower, rape and barley.
Winslow Energy (WE) is a new department within Winslow Group dedicated to the development of Renewable Energy Projects. Winslow Energy is having two directions of development: Wind Power and Photovoltaic projects. The company is fully capable of managing all of the administrative procedures in order to get a Final Grid Connection Agreement for wind and solar projects in Bulgaria. The Company’s intention is to construct and put in operation wind and PV projects jointly developed with international partners.
