Sofia citizens look for a new way of life /2007-10-10/
balpex 10.2007

Life in a park with commodities outside the city center - that is the magic combination in the eyes of Sofia citizens, when they need to buy a home. The observations made on the fall edition of the Balkan Exposition for real estate BalPEx by the team, offering the lodging complex Winslow Gardens on the market, show that the citizens of the capital no longer wish to live among the noise and traffic and move towards the periphery of the city. The buyers look for a new way of life – peace and independence in the more remote areas of the city, in a green park – these are the conclusions from the research, made among more than a thousand visitors at the Winslow Developments stand during the exposition.
The company experts also point out that, despite the raised requirements, the priorities of the future owners have not changed much – the three keywords are still location, greenness and price. The south arch of Sofia continues to be the most attractive location. The home seekers are ready to pay from 1000 to 1200 euro per square meter for the desired house.
The complexes of closed type, which offer to their owners no cars recreation zones, commercial and office areas, gather more and more popularity. The few floors and big distance between buildings are a compulsory condition.
According to the Winslow Development specialist the flats with one or two bedrooms are currently most sought on the market. They are preferred by young families, who already have or plan to have children.  The buyers most frequently ask about the infrastructure, sewerage, park areas and finalizing works.
