Winslow Agro Fund department consists of two closely related independent divisions. The scope of activity of the first one is investing in acquisition of arable land. The second one is focused on farming.

Currently, the company owns more than 25 000 dca of high quality arable land, which are concentrated primarily into 5 zones within the most fertile areas of Bulgaria. Till the end of 2009 the company’s ambition is to have them tripled. The structural units, which are buying land in this five zones are well set-up and the personnel is experienced in land acquisition

Farming operations has been spreaded on more than 21 000 dca in the Municipality of Parvomai, Plovdiv Region. The crops which are cultivated are primarily field crops with emphasis on wheat, sunflower, maize and oilseed rape. The production process is highly mechanized. The company has invested in the latest agricultural machinery and equipment, which is a premise to good yields, low production costs and overall efficient farming. For season 2008/2009 Winslow Agro Fund will increase the farmed area in Parvomai to 40 000 dca and extend the operation onto second newly bought farm base.

Within the next few years Winslow Agro Fund plans to establish 3 new farms in addition to the existing one within the areas of focus. The company’s business model provides buying land and establishing own profitable farm to cultivate the acquired land, improving the land quality and thus increasing the value of the land.
